Isaac Simons is making a name for himself in Southern California, but have you heard his music?
Isaac Simons, a free-spirited musician from SoCal is something The Urbanian has never seen before.
Simons can turn a cover song into something so unique and fresh sounding, it will blow your mind. See for yourself: Empire State of Mind, Simons style!
Ever since he can remember, Simons always wanted to be a musician. “It was never a decision or a career choice, just a lifestyle,” said Simons. His cousin and band members would just start showing up at his door and it went from there….. This was their career, this is what they did everyday and it just grew.
Simons brought up a great point to me, You Tube is like the new radio, it acts as an independent record label. It puts artists on an equal playing field and gives their music a chance to become viral. Simons has landed many gigs through his You Tube fame. He urges new musicians just starting out to get on it (Isaac Simons on You Tube).
Currently, Simons and his band want to break out of SoCal and start spreading their music across the whole country. If you would like to hear more of Simons and his unique music check him out on i Tunes and http://isaacsimons.bandcamp.com/.
