Mixtape Monday: Freeway & TGLR
It’s our first Mixtape Monday with the new site design so of course we’re bringing you a couple solid mixtapes to download. Instead of posting every single mixtape that drops like other hip-hop blogs, we do a mixtape drop once a week that involves the best two. So instead of getting lost in the downpour of mixtapes, count on us to deliver the ones you really need.
First up is the owner of the best beard in hip-hop, Freeway. This latest drop for Freeway bodes as a way to build hype for his upcoming release with producer Jake One, The Stimulus Package. Not only that, the mixtape contains an unique theme: He goes in over all Eminem beats. Freelapse carries us through 14 songs of Freeway showing us what he can do over tracks Eminem has gone in on before. You’ll recognize the beats from songs such as Forgot About Dre, Cleaning out my Closet, Without Me, and many more.

Next up we have a compilation mixtape by the homies over at Tha Good Life Reviews. Hip-Hop Report Vol. 1 serves as a perfect showcase of a plethora of you-need-to-know rappers, the mixtape transitions through 20 different artists. Found on the tape are some artists we’ve shown love on our site before, such as Azage, Hoodie Allen, Jordan Looney and Earlly Mac. If you always are looking to stay one step ahead of the hip-hop game, cop the tape and get to know the artists on there before everyone else does.
