Kid Cudi x Eminem x Lil’ Wayne mash-up
Mash-ups are the hardest thing to back because everyone thinks they can do it, but one that actually sounds good is rare to find. It’s a lot like rapping actually.
Days ago, a Kid Cudi demo tape leaked unleashing a bulk of songs/interludes that Cudi may or may not use down the line. Lots of people say that since it leaked he’ll probably never use any of it now. I’m doubtful with that, because there was some solid stuff on there that’s too good to pass up.
One of the tracks on there was an Eminem-produced track called “I Hear Them Calling.” How can we assume that Eminem was behind the controls on this? Well in the beginning of the track you hear Cudi say: “Slim Shady.” Not only that but if you listen to the track it’s right up Eminem’s alley. The song found on the demo is basically just the beat along with Kid Cudi singing the hook.
I assumed that it wouldn’t be long until someone out there did something with it. Finally I came across this mash-up featuring a verse from Eminem from “Lose Yourself,” and a verse from Lil’ Wayne (I’m not a big enough Lil’ Wayne fan to know where the verse is from).
I feel like this mashes pretty well. I wish I had more info to give you on the creator of it, but unfortunately I got nothing…
