Drake x Kanye West x Lil’ Wayne x Eminem = a mess
The news came as a rather surprise a couple days ago when it was learned a new song by Drake will drop on iTunes on Friday. I know, Drake’s been dropping songs left and right, what’s so surprising about it? Well joining in on the song are three of the biggest names in hip hop right now, Lil’ Wayne, Kanye West, and Eminem.
All people have to do is read those four names and without even hearing the song, they will get it in their head that the song will be amazing.
After listening to the song, I have determined that it is actually complete garbage that needs to filed alongside every Nickelback, Black Eyed Peas, and Dave Matthews Band song.
I should have turned the song off right away after hearing Drake open his verse with: “Last name, ever, first name, Greatest.” Give me a break, Drake. What else does he talk about in his verse? The usual things we hear from him, about how great he is. Drake, you are average at best.
West is next on the song, did you know he stuck his dick in life until the bitch came? I have to admit, that’s a pretty good line. However the verse is downhill from there.
Next is the ultimate hip-hop head’s guilty pleasure, Lil’ Wayne. I learned something from him in his verse, that he’s like Nevada in the middle of the summer. I’m still baffled by people who tell me Lil’ Wayne is a good lyricist.
And finally Eminem closes the song. He is the ONLY highlight. His flow on this song beats the crap out of anything from ‘Relapse.’ The accent is gone and this verse feels more like the old Eminem I grew up with.
Another reason this song loses points with me: Drake sings on the hook that nothing was done for him. Yeah right Drake, Lil’ Wayne isn’t doing anything for you…
Four huge names on a track together is easily going to garner some attention from people, however this one is a fail. Drake and Lil’ Wayne go together just fine on a song, since Drake is trying to be Lil’ Wayne, but I feel like the styles of West and Eminem don’t belong alongside the two Young Money rappers.

well i think it is a good song minus drake. drake is dumb its been it’s easy for him he was on that show degrassi so he was a wealthy kid and that made it way easy for him to break in to the music industry.
